Turkey Trot Event

We returned to Independence Park during Thanksgiving Day to attract more listeners during the Turkey Trot event, where there would be over a thousand participants. At the event we shared our AirGradient monitors and interface to show the community what pollutants are present in our air. Our listeners learned why monitoring air quality is important for knowing how air particles affect our lungs and how they ultimately impact public health. Along with that, we were also grateful to meet Constable Buck Stevens, a highly achieved community leader and mayoral candidate for Pearland. We had a conversation about our environmental work and the importance of community partnerships to promote our project, citing the Independence Park Improvement Project, which he was promoting in his booth.
